Note To Self

I've been spending a lot more time thinking than talking lately. Choosing silence and listening over everything else, taking in the sights and sounds of home and You and me and the rest of this tiny world. Honestly, I don't really have anything to say. It's Christmas-time, my favorite time of year. It means family and giving and love and beauty.

I ordered a book yesterday, it's called A Severe Mercy and I am quite excited about it. Then I think I'll read Wild at Heart, which I do about every other year just to remind myself who I am, you know, incase I forgot or something.

Still listening to The Fray's single. It struck a chord within me. Snow Patrol's new album is a great one, especially the first two tracks. The second song is more about sex, which I'm sure will be a great awkward experience (I recently learned I'm an expert at "pillow talk" ;) ). I'm not going to dwell on this one, because it could get extremely out of control like the recent California wildfires and that would not be a good thing. Just know that it is a good song and I like it.
