aimless conversations 'bout the better days

I was riding my bike yesterday (10 miles, HOLY SHUNK) and was thinking about High School. I move on so fast sometimes, closing files and never looking back. Sometimes, I miss High School when I think about certain things. Here they are, in no order:

- I miss riding around with the guys, in the woods, in neighborhoods, listening to stupid music, laughing my butt off, about nothing.
- Friday nights, football games, after our games
- bonfires with good friends, cigars, out on Quade's property with our fourwheelers
- skipping school to go to big blue in ocala, jumping off the rope swing naked
- my 2000 Ford Ranger (I HATED that thing)
- working at Kimberlys, Stumpknockers, Publix, B&F Stucco
- Riding around with Quade and Craig, in the rain, in the mud, (which, would probably also wind up with some sort of nude dare)
- skipping school hanging out at Quade's house drinking Root Brewskies, Mountain Dewbies and a nice bottle of Coke-aine Cola. (idiots)
- sitting with craig thinking of anybody anything we could make fun of
- paintballing Crystal River's school floats
- getting suspended for said paintballing
- getting the FBI and SWAT team called on us for a FAKE BB GUN (I was innocent)
- burning down 16 acres of property (once again, innocent)
- getting suspended for "grinding" at the school dance
- Dip, Chew, Tobacco, then going to Hooters for my 16th birthday (classy...I was NEVER a redneck, I mean, I'm from the north. Just stupid)
- stealing and peeing on the lecanto statue
- craig's dancing
- ugly girls
- the innocence and ignorance of it all, together
- my dog Jake

We were so stupid. I guess that's what made it so fun. I also realize about half of my high school career was spent naked. perfect.
